Returning triumphant from their US tour, Koyuki and his band BECK are faced with the challenge of producing a new mini-album in Japan. However, their path to success is hindered by the manoeuvres of music industry rival Ran, resulting in widespread rejection by record labels. In a fortunate twist, Sato manages to secure a contract with a modest independent label, but the recording process turns out to be less than ideal. Their debut single, "Human Fly", fails to reach its sales targets, plunging the band into uncertainty.
Despite the setbacks, BECK's determination remains strong. Thanks to Kawakubo's offer to produce a second single, the band sees a glimmer of hope. This time, they are determined to stay true to their unique sound and capture the essence that sets them apart. Will this be the turning point for BECK, the chance to redeem themselves and reclaim their place in the music scene?
